Yoga + Mindfulness Club // Grade 6-8

Participants will learn basic yoga stretches and poses that will help with focus and learning. Each week's practice will incorporate a theme such as balance, collaboration, and self-awareness to help students be better focused in school and elsewhere. Mindfulness will also include the practice of bringing an attitude of self-acceptance and focus on the current moment. We will use fun activities such as journaling, crafts, and others to reinforce these concepts.
